Our small holding of six hives are Wild Bee’s - Scotland’s native honey bee, Apis mellifera mellifera. Which is at serious risk of disappearing by cross-breeding and competition from commercial honey bee’s.

We rarely the harvest honey, leaving the bee’s with nourishment to thrive - only harvesting honey every 2-3 years. Each batch is unique & precious.

Our Bee’s honey is a mix of Scottish moorland Heather flower honey & Wildflower honey. Our bee’s are situated on our Croft where they travel up to 5miles for pollen.
