A modern interpretation of the witches flying ointment of old.

Bean Feasa (pronounced ban fassa) is an Irish Gaelic term meaning “wise woman” or “woman of knowledge.”

In Irish and Scottish folk tradition, a bean feasa was a healer, herbalist, and seer — someone deeply connected with the land, plants, and the unseen world. She was the one people turned to for remedies, charms, divination, and spiritual counsel. Her wisdom was considered both practical and mystical, rooted in an understanding of natural cycles, ancestral lore, and the spirit of place.

  • A magical beeswax based balm infused with the ancient powers of Amanita and the silvery leaves of Artemisia vulgaris, mugwort.

    This is an especially potent ointment to be used in practises of divination, meditation, visualisation and spirit journeying. The fly agaric aids in your workings concerned with the Fae, hedge crossing and communications with the otherworld while mugwort enhances the power of the mind and creative thought.

    Care should be taken as the Amanita muscaria contains toxins, which can be dangerous. Do not let the ointment come into contact with eyes, mouth, nose or genitals. Wash hands after application. Do not ingest and keep away from children and animals. Test a little on your skin first to check for adverse effects and to better gauge your susceptibility to the ingredients. Do not use with drugs or alcohol, while operating machinery, while pregnant or if you have any allergies to the ingredients. Results are not guaranteed and may vary.
